Obama was nominated when he was only in office for two weeks. How can he possibly win this award? The Red Cross, which has won it three times before, was overlooked this year by somebody who did absolutely nothing in the first two weeks in office. Oh yes, he did promise to have the rag-headed thugs released from Guantanamo Bay by the end of this year. Oops, another lie…….What a disgrace to the award. However, Alfred Nobel, for which the award was named after, invented dynamite. So, it just proves that it’s a useless award and any jackbooted thug is worthy………
Sad that the committee had to defend itself for the first time. Maybe it’s because Clinton never got it and he should have-without question. Or maybe it’s because Obama is attempting to unify the globe, not have us isolated which does put us in more danger. Let’s cut a little slack here, and back off since eating crow is not very tasty mmmm.
